Stanley Park Brewing – Nature-Inspired Digital Experience
Stanley Park Brewing is a heritage Canadian craft brewery rooted in the beauty and spirit of British Columbia’s west coast. Our mission was to create a Shopify-based digital experience that captures their adventurous tone, community focus, and commitment to sustainable brewing.
We built a seamless eCommerce flow for beer lovers, event attendees, and merch shoppers—unifying the brand’s product offerings with its park-inspired personality.
Challenges
Attracting both local visitors & online beer lovers
Stanley Park Brewing needed a digital platform that could serve both its brewpub customers and online shoppers equally well. Balancing community storytelling with product access was essential for capturing diverse user journeys.
Crafting a responsive experience for mobile-first audiences
The site needed to feel as natural and smooth on mobile as it did on desktop. Ensuring fast loading, intuitive navigation, and a scalable structure for future promotions/events was a critical UX priority.
Preserving the essence of the Stanley Park brand
With roots in nature and sustainability, the website had to visually echo the brand’s West Coast identity. Bringing in forest tones, layered illustrations, and crafted type while maintaining Shopify functionality was a creative and technical challenge.

Attracting new users & engaging existing ones
We built a Shopify-powered site with clear segmentation for brewpub visitors and online shoppers. Engaging visuals, focused copy, and location-based messaging helped guide users toward purchases, bookings, or events based on their intent.
Ensuring seamless user experience
We implemented a fully responsive, mobile-first layout with intuitive navigation, fast-loading assets, and clean content hierarchy. Scroll-based animations and sticky product sections made browsing natural and frictionless.
Brand identity alignment
We embraced the “Inspired by Nature” theme throughout the UI—using Stanley Park’s iconic forest green, layered backgrounds, and outdoor imagery. The site feels immersive, yet minimal—echoing the calm and clarity of the Stanley Park experience.
